Joe J. Taylor, 84, of Dana, husband of Gail Boyd Taylor, died Sept. 13, 2012, at Riverview Health Care.

Joe was born Oct. 17, 1927, to the late Trimble Taylor and Elizabeth Stone Robinson. He was an auto body repairman and a member of the Boldman Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Jones, and a brother, John L. Taylor.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joe David Taylor, of Dana; special daughter, Beatrice Jacobs, of Stanville; grandson, Joe Dustin Taylor; and sisters, Phyllis Stratton, Audrea Clark and Billy Jean Fife.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Beaumont Johnson and Barry Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the A.A. Boyd Cemetery, at Dana.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m., Friday, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home.
