EASTERN - Allen Central senior setter/right side Courtney Hodge has been named the MaxPreps/AVCA Kentucky High School Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 10-16.
Hodge delivered 42 assists for Allen Central during the week. The senior averaged 10.5 assists per match.
Hodge helped Allen Central to wins over Piarist School, South Floyd and Trimble County during the award-winning week.
Allen Central competed in the All “A” Classic on Saturday. The Rebels notched a win over Trimble County during the small-school state tournament.
Last week, South Floyd standout Joslyn Isaac claimed the MaxPreps Kentucky weekly award.
