Highlands Home Health physical therapy assistant, Jeremy McKenzie, has recently been voted “Best Between the Lakes” by readers of the Paintsville Herald.

McKenzie, who has been working for Highlands Home Health since 2011 as a Physical Therapy Assistant, was recently honored with the award during the annual newspaper competition. Jeremy is the first person within the Highlands Home Health organization to win such an award.

Jeremy is a 2007 graduate of the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Hazard Community and Technical College, and a 1999 graduate of Johnson Central High School. He currently lives with his wife, Tina, in Stambaugh. As a physical therapy assistant, Jeremy provides both inpatient and outpatient services for the Highlands Home Health team.

Highlands Home Health is a subsidiary of Highlands Health System, and provides skilled home health services to those who are elderly, disabled, or otherwise unable to leave their homes to receive the quality medical care they deserve. The Home Health team offers an array of services, including skilled nursing care, rehabilitation therapies, home IV therapies, and outpatient medical supplies.
