Harold B. “Flint” Osborne, age 90, of Martin, husband of Ava Gail Click Osborne, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at the East Kentucky Veterans Center, in Hazard.

He was born July 16, 1922, in Martin, a son of Samuel P. and Susan Ellen Osborne. He was a retired coal miner and former Master of the John W. Hall Lodge #950.

In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by a son, Harold J. Osborne, of Martin; a sister, Eva Stephens, of Martin; two grandchildren, Kimberly Whitt and Bryan Osborne; and three great grandchildren, South Whitt, Natalie Whitt and Caroline Whitt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Norman Osborne, Thomas Osborne and Algie Osborne; and three sisters, Mae Wohlford, Maude Smith and Stella Smith.

Funeral services for Harold B. “Flint” Osborne will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 24, in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, in Martin, with Bobby Neil Osborne and Bobby Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, at Ivel.
