Newcomer Carianne Jones and JWT alum Jon Satrom portray the lead characters in Jenny Wiley Theatre’s production of Grease.
Jenny Wiley Theatre, in conjunction with Community Trust Bank, is planning a “sensational summer night,” to celebrate the opening of JWT’s “Grease,” Friday, June 29.
JWT will be hosting a free classic car show to kick off the evening. Be there at 6 p.m. to admire classic automobiles from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, arranged by the Good Ole Boys Car Club, from Pikeville. Then, just a few steps away, the JWT band will be revving up for the gang from Rydell High to rock your socks off with the production of “Grease” at 8:15 p.m.
In the event of rain, the Car Show will be postponed but “Grease” will run as scheduled.
The first 100 ticket holders through the door will receive a free bag of popcorn from the JWT Concessions Stand. Guests can also register that night to be entered into a drawing to win a $50 gift certificate from Stewart & Stafford Tire, in Pikeville. Must be present to win.
