Charlotte Elaine Guess, 72, of Prestonsburg, widow of Johnnie Guess, died Dec. 22, 2012, at Prestonsburg Health Care.

Born Nov. 23, 1939, in Woodland, Calif., to the late Charlie and Grace Tate George, she was a homemaker and a member of the St. Vincent MIssion Church, at David.

She is survived by three sons, James Robert Guess and Willard David Guess, both of Prestonsburg, and Charley Edward Guess, of Owingsville; two daughters, Carol Mae Williams, of Arkansas, and Cheryl Marie Guess, of Prestonsburg; a brother, Charles George, of Washington; a sister, Louise Want, of California; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, J.B. George, and a sister, Laura Richardson.

Funeral services for Charlotte Elaine Guess will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Ron Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Guess Family Cemetery, at Flat Gap.

Visitation will be held after 6 p.m., Christmas, at the funeral home.
