Billy R. Adams, 72, of Silver Lake, IN, passed away Thursday November 15, 2012 at his residence. On October 30, 1940 he was born in Van Lear, KY to Raymond and Gladys (Webb) Adams. He married Linda Whitaker on November 21, 1960 in Prestonsburg, KY. She preceded him in death on October 25, 2008.

Billy moved to Kosciusko County in 1962. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Dalton Foundry for 25 years until he retired. After retiring from Dalton Foundry, he worked for Indiana Vac Form, in Warsaw.

He was a member of the Early Apostolic Training Center, Clarypool and would preach services there on occasion. he also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Billy is survived by three daughters: Ival Blocher of Silver Lake, Billie Fogle of Orangeburg SC, and Rachel Adams of Silver Lake; one brother: Larry J. Adams of Bucyrus, OH; one sister Tanya Auxier of Van Lear KY; six grandchildren: Amanda Blocher, Elizabeth Adams, Kerry “J.R.” Adams, Heather Blocher, Billy Slone and April Fogle and nine great grandchildren. he was preceded in death by his father, mother, Gladys Pelphry and a daughter.

Funeral services were held Tuesday 20, 2012 at Early Apostolic Training Center in Claypool with Paston Dean Ealey officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Silver Lake.
