Alma D. Newsome, 88, of Teaberry, KY died Wednesday October 17, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 20, 1924 in Floyd County, KY to the late Andy and Hulda Hamilton Kiser. She was the wife of the late Charlie Newsome. She worked as a homemaker and a member of the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church in Teaberry, KY.

She was preceded in death by one daughter: Lucille Frasure; brothers & sister: Cecil Kiser, Palmer Kiser, Troy Kiser, Arlee Kiser, Andy Kiser Jr. and Arizona Blankenship.

She is survived by one daughter: Vivana Tackett of Teaberry, KY; two brothers: Bob Kiser of IN and Leonard Kiser of Bypro, KY; one sister: Alphia Blankenship of IN; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 20, 2012 12:00 noon at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Martin, KY. Burial will follow the service at Joe Reynolds Cemetery, in Beaver, KY.
