WHITESBURG - The Alice Lloyd College volleyball program signed four seniors from Letcher County Central High School during a ceremony on Wednesday. All of the Alice Lloyd College-bound student-athletes excelled for Letcher County Central throughout their prep careers.
Letcher County Central High School seniors Whitney Kincaid, Ashley Sexton, Lakyn Mullins and Katlyn Jent have played volleyball together since elementary school and will continue to play the sport on the collegiate level. Letcher County Central ranks as one of the top volleyball programs in the 14th Region.
ALC Coach Jolene Watts attended the signing and welcomed the student-athletes to the upstart ALC volleyball program.
