DWALE - Young Floyd County dirt track driver Christian Crider continues to fare well in his rookie season. Crider competed in back-to-back feature races at a pair of area tracks late last week.

On Friday night at Willard Speedway in Carter County, Crider placed fourth in his heat race and eighth in the feature race after a flat slowed him down in the Sport Mod class.

On Saturday night, Crider traveled to 191 Speedway in Campton. He raced a class up in the Open Wheel Modified class and finished 15th in a crowded 23-car field.

Crider is currently eight in the 201 Speedway Open Wheel Modified points standings. He has several races remaining in his debut campaign.
