COLUMBUS, Ind. - Prestonsburg High School sophomore Dalton Frasure was back on the gridiron over the weekend, competing with the team - Go Hard Elite - in a 7-on-7 high school football passing tournament in Columbus, Ind. Go Hard Elite compiled a 1-2 record in the tournament, which featured some of the nation’s top college football recruits from multiple states. Frasure, who led Prestonsburg in rushing and ranked second in receiving for the Blackcats during the 2013 season, performed very well during the tournament.
Among Frasure’s teammates were Lafayette quarterback Clay Bolin and Caldwell County wide receiver Demetrius Cain.
As a sophomore, Frasure scored 26 touchdowns for the Blackcats. Frasure rushed 209 times for a team-high 1,240 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also hauled in 48 receptions for 537 yards and four touchdowns.
Frasure led Prestonsburg in rushing for the second straight year. He rushed 88 times for 605 yards and eight touchdowns during his freshman season. A reliable receiver, Frasure also hauled in 16 receptions for 251 yards and two touchdowns for the Blackcats during his freshman campaign.
Frasure ranks as one of the state’s top high school football players.
