LEXINGTON - Prestonsburg High School sophomore Dalton Frasure made an unofficial visit to the University of Kentucky on Saturday. During his visit, Frasure had an opportunity to talk with UK tight ends coach Vince Marrow, who was named the team’s recruiting coordinator in late-January. Marrow invited Frasure back to UK for the squad’s spring game later in the month.
Earlier in the month, Frasure made an unofficial visit to the University of Cincinnati for the Bearcats’ spring game.
Ranking as one of the state’s top offensive players in 2013, Frasure rushed 209 times for 1,240 yards and 22 touchdowns during his sophomore season. Frasure led Prestonsburg in rushing and ranked as the Blackcats’ second-leading receiver. The versatile Frasure hauled in 48 receptions for 537 yards and four touchdowns.
The University of Kentucky football program’s Blue-White Spring Game will be held at 3:30 p.m. on April 26 at Commonwealth Stadium.
