CINCINNATI - Prestonsburg High School sophomore Dalton Frasure attended the University of Cincinnati football program’s spring game at Paul Brown Stadium on Saturday, making an unofficial visit. Frasure was of one of only around 50 recruits at the game.
In early-January, Frasure joined top high school football players from across the nation when he attended the Under Armour All-America Combine at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla..
Frasure excelled during the combine, showcasing his strength, speed and pass-catching abilities throughout the event.
A member of the class of 2016, Frasure led Prestonsburg in rushing and ranked second in receiving for the Blackcats during the 2013 season.
As a sophomore, Frasure scored 28 touchdowns. The versatile Frasure rushed 209 times for a team-high 1,240 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also hauled in 48 receptions for 537 yards and four touchdowns.
Frasure led Prestonsburg in rushing for the second straight year. He rushed 88 times for 605 yards and eight touchdowns during his freshman season. A reliable receiver, Frasure also hauled in 16 receptions for 251 yards and two touchdowns during his freshman campaign.
Frasure will enter the 2014 Kentucky high school football season as one of the state’s top players.
He is scheduled to in Lexington for a University of Kentucky spring session on Saturday.
