BEREA - The Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball team confronted conference opponents IU East, Berea and Brescia in a tri-match held Friday. A brief recap of each match involving the Alice Lloyd College volleyball team follows.

ALC 0, IUE 3 (25-9, 25-16, 25-10): The first match of the day featured Alice Lloyd and IU East. The top team in the conference, IU East won 3-0 (25-9, 25-16, 25-10).

Delaney Pritchard and Katie McFarland led Alice Lloyd with 14 digs and 10 digs, respectively. Macy Allen recorded ALC’s team-high in kills with two.

ALC 0, BC 3 (25-4, 25-9, 25-19): The Lady Eagles’ second match of the day was against host Berea. The Lady Mountaineers defeated Alice Lloyd 3-0, winning 25-4, 25-9, 25-19.

The team leader in digs Alice Lloyd was McFarland with 17. Prestonsburg High School graduate Sadie Slone recorded seven digs while Delaney Pritchard delivered six. Another productive player, Macy Allen, provided three kills for the Lady Eagles.

ALC 0, BU 3 (25-14, 25-14, 25-8): Alice Lloyd wrapped up the three-match series with Brescia. A familiar opponent, Brescia beat Alice Lloyd 3-0, winning 25-14, 25-14, 25-8.

Pritchard and Allen generated 14 digs between them. Allen once again led the team in kills with four.

The Lady Eagles will end the regular-season with two home matches on the Oct. 25 and 28. Their opponents will be Appalachian Bible College and Crown College.
