Kentuckians seeking legitimate work-from-home jobs they can do online will soon have new employment opportunities thanks to a partnership between Kentucky Teleworks and a global call-center consumer products service protection company.
And they won’t even have to leave their homes to be considered and possibly hired for those jobs.
On three consecutive Thursdays in November—Nov. 7, Nov. 14, and Nov. 21—Kentucky Teleworks will host “virtual job fairs” to fill Home-Based Customer Care Representative positions with N.E.W. Corp., a national company that has been the industry’s leading provider of extended service plans and product protection programs for consumer products since 1983.
The sessions, all of which will be begin at 12 p.m. EST, will allow people to access a special website through their home computer to learn about N.E.W. Corp. and to apply for jobs with the company.
To register and obtain the web address for the virtual job fairs, people should contact Theresa Noble with Kentucky Teleworks via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and provide full name, city and state of residence, and phone number.
N.E.W. Corp. seeks to hire about 400 full-time, permanent Home-Based Customer Care Representatives through these virtual job fairs. These positions provide customer service, sales, and technical support.
The positions pay $9.50 per hour, and all new hires will also be eligible for a new benefits package starting in 2014, according to company officials.
An Internet connectivity speed of 6MB or faster is required for all positions.
Staff with N.E.W. Corp. will lead the virtual job fairs and give applicants a detailed overview of the jobs, benefits, and computer and Internet access requirements.
