FRANKFORT – The Kentucky Registry of Election Finance, the agency charged with enforcing state campaign finance laws, will present an Election Finance Training Seminar on Thursday, March 20, beginning at 6 p.m. The seminar is designed to educate and train candidates and their treasurers on Kentucky’s campaign finance laws and equip them to run effective and successful campaigns.
The seminar will be presented in Frankfort at the Capitol Annex, Room 154. Candidates, campaign treasurers and others interested in campaign finance laws are invited to attend this informative program. The seminar is offered free of charge and no registration is required.
This training is also accessible at any time online on the agency’s website at www.kref.ky.gov.
“I am very proud of the quality training our team offers free of charge each election cycle to candidates and their staff,” said Craig C. Dilger, Chairman of the Registry. “The success of our efforts to promote transparency in the election finance component of Kentucky elections requires a sound understanding by candidates of exactly what is required of them under Kentucky’s election finance laws. This training is consistently rated by attendees as thorough and invaluable.”
The Registry administers and enforces campaign finance laws for all candidates for local and statewide office, including candidates for state legislative, judicial, city, county and school board offices.
