Denise Ann Hall and Jordan Rowe Scarberry are pleased to announce their upcoming marriage.
Hall is the daughter of Astor and Bonnie Hall, of Grethel. She is the paternal granddaughter of O.C. and Vernice Hall, of Grethel, and the maternal granddaughter of Phyllistene and the Late Charlie Mitchell, also of Grethel.
Hall is a 2006 graduate of Betsy Layne High School. After graduating high school, she attended Eastern Kentucky University, where she graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. After graduating from EKU, she went on to attend the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where she graduated in May. She is currently employed at Pam May Law Firm in Pikeville.
Scarberry is the son of Wayne Scarberry, of Martin, and Jackie Scarberry, of Harold. He is the paternal grandson of the late Estill and Ethel Scarberry, formerly of Martin, and the maternal grandson of the late Rofolo and Lorene Newsome, formerly of Harold.
Scarberry is a 2004 graduate of Betsy Layne High School. After graduating high school, he attended Pikeville College, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in 2008. He is currently employed by Gearheart Communications in Harold.
The couple will wed in an outside ceremony in Paintsville, Sept. 14. After being united in marriage, the couple will reside at Grethel.
