CENTURION — Lillie Bell Adams, of Robinette, recently celebrated her 100th birthday. The celebration was held at the Becco United Baptist Church at Amherstdale. A family celebration was held on August 24, Lillie Bell Adams' birthday, then another event was held at the Becco United Baptist Church, at Amherstdale, to honor its oldest member.The family celebration brought family members back home to visit and honor Mrs. Adams. Adams has a son and grandson who live at Chapmanville. Adams was one of the people instrumental in getting the church built and has been a member there for the past 64 years. According to Adams, the key to good health and longevity is “having faith and trusting in our Lord and Savior.” Adams still lives independently, but family and friends check on her several times every day.
