PIKEVILLE — On Wednesday, Aug. 6, the Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate El Azul Grande’s recent relocation to 174 South Mayo Trail in downtown Pikeville. The team at El Azul renovated and invested in a newer facility and it seems to have paid off for them already.
El Azul Grande provides authentic Mexican cuisine at a great price. The owner, Frank Childers, opened El Azul Grande’s first location in 1999. Fifteen years later, they have three successful restaurants in the area. Since the opening of their new location, they have been busier than ever.
