GRETHEL — A man wanted on robbery and other charges was captured Monday night in Floyd County.
Anthony Gillespie was taken into custody without incident at 9:45 p.m., Monday, at a residence in Grethel. He was lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police issued a statement shortly afterward, thanking the public for its assistance in locating Gillespie.
Gillespie had been believed either to be staying in the Branham’s Creek area or in Lexington, and he was considered to be armed and dangerous. KSP had warrants for his arrest for kidnapping, theft, assault and two counts of robbery.
