ALLEN - After helping lead their team to a Division 4 national runner-up finish in the NACA National High School Basketball Championship Tournament, two Wesley Christian High School players have been selected to the NACA All-American Team. It was announced earlier in the week that Wesley Christian’s Josh Amuzu and Malik McDonald have been selected to the Division 4 All-American Team by the National Association of Christian Athletes (NACA).

Both Amuzu and McDonald had an outstanding season at the Allen-based school. Amuzu, a six-foot guard who will have one more season at Wesley, surpassed the 1,000 point scoring mark earlier in the year and became the school’s all-time leading scorer. He passed 2013 graduate Stephan Goble on the school’s all-time scoring list.

Amuzu averaged 23 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals per game for Wesley Christian during the 2013-14 season.

McDonald, a 6-3 sophomore guard, averaged 17 points, five rebounds and three assists per game for the Riders.
