PRESTONSBURG - The Prestonsburg girls’ soccer team returned to the win column on Tuesday evening. In a match at StoneCrest Park, Prestonsburg rolled past visiting Sheldon Clark, winning 7-0.
The Lady Blackcats improved to 11-4-0 after posting the win.
Sheldon Clark slipped to 2-12-0 after suffering the loss.
Katie Porter paced Prestonsburg with three goals. Jackie Kidd and Carly Burchett added two goals and one assist each for the Lady Blackcats.
Veteran goalkeeper Maddy Ousley recorded the shutout for the Prestonsburg girls’ soccer team.
Prestonsburg was hosting Pikeville on Thursday evening. Results from the Prestonsburg-Pikeville girls’ soccer game were unavailable at press time.
