RWB Fest gets started next week

MARTIN — The first of many regional festivals kicks off next weekend in Martin, as Red, White, and Blue days gets underway.

The festival begins next Thursday, Sept. 19, in Martin, with live local entertainment, arts and crafts, and several vendors. Events continue Friday and Saturday with more vendors, a carnival and a flag raising at the new development site at 5:30 p.m. A dinner will follow the flag raising at the Martin Community Center.

On Saturday festival goers will be treated to a car show which will start at 8:00 a.m. at the development site followed by the parade at 3:00 p.m. Martin will also host a huge fireworks display which will begin after dark.

A wrestling event will be held at 7:00 p.m.

A free trolley service will be held throughout the weekend.

The “Music for the Veterans” live entertainment for the weekend will feature the following acts:
