ALLEN - The Kinzer Motorsports team invaded the Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Ind. on Saturday evening for the annual running of the Whiskey City 50. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over the one-day program, which boasted a $10,000 winner’s check. Floyd Countian Brandon Kinzer started his night at the 3/8-mile oval by clicking off the12th fastest lap overall during the qualifying session. Eventually, Kinzer finished just outside of the Top 10.
Kinzer finished a strong second in his heat race behind only prelim victor Jared Landers to earn the outside third row starting spot for the 50-lap main event. During the course of the A-Main, which was taped by the television cameras of the Lucas Oil Production Studios for broadcast later in the Fall, Kinzer hung around the top ten for the majority of the race before eventually claiming a steady 11th place performance.
