Missing girl may be in Floyd County

PRESTONSBURG — The family of a missing girl who may be in Floyd County says they are desperate for information.

Seventeen-year-old Amber Newman was reported missing by her family after she disappeared from her home in Cleveland, Texas, on Monday. Newman is described as a having reddish blonde hair, cut short, with green eyes. Her family indicates that she is from Michigan and Floyd County, and may be headed back to this area.
