PAINTSVILLE – Highlands Health System administered sports physicals to Johnson Central High School students prior to their first seven on seven game of the practice season.
Around 50 student athletes from the high school received a complete physical, which included monitoring their height and weight, a blood pressure and pulse check, and an eye exam, by Dr. Jason Rice, a Johnson Central graduate, and Paintsville native.
These recent physicals are just one example of many physical exams provided by Highlands this year. Schools that would like to offer on-site physicals are asked to contact Melissa Vance, Director of Community Development, at (606) 886-7468, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
