Mary Anderson Conyous, 104, of Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Wheelwright, widow of Wallace Conyous, died June 1, 2013, at her residence.
Born Oct. 2, 1909, in Virginia, to the late James and Bertha Braxton Anderson, she was a homemaker and member of the Wheelwright Friendship Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Conyous, of Louisville; two sisters, Daisy Anderson, of Lynchburg, Va., and Florence Boyd, of Temple Hills, Md.; five grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers, Warner, Walter, William, Raymond, Eddie, Earl, Herman and James Anderson, and five sisters, Bertha Younger, Annie Anderson, Phyllis Carter, Lucille Anderson and Lula Mack.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 8, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in Davidson Memorial Gardens, at Ivel.
Visitation will be held after 1 p.m., at the funeral home.
