Curtis Ray Salisbury, age 62, of Prestonsburg, husband of Janie Yvonne Tuttle Salisbury, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center, in Hazard.
He was born Sept. 9, 1950, in Floyd County, a son of the late Curtis and Margaret Adams Salisbury. He was a carpenter.
In addition to his wife, Curtis is survived by three sons, Ricky McGuire, of Coal Grove, Ohio, Shawn Salisbury, of Michigan, and Todd Salisbury, of Michigan; three daughters, Ariel Salisbury Ly, of Prestonsburg, Margaret Salisbury, of Prestonsburg, and Kayla Tackett, of Ligon; three brothers, Danny Salisbury, Vernon, Demp and Buford Allen; a sister, Esta Mae Bertha; and 11 grandchildren, Taurean, Sierra, Sahara, David, Angel, Kylie, Karson, Nicholas, Alexis, Alyssa and Beck.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry Salisbury; and a sister, Betty Birchwell.
Funeral service for Curtis Ray Salisbury will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 7, in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, in Martin, with J.M. Sloce officiating. Burial will follow in the Salisbury Cemetery, at Hunter.
Visitation will be held after 5 p.m., Wednesday, with services nightly at the funeral home.
