Lilly Mae Damron, 71, of Prestonsburg, died Tuesday February 26, 2013 at Mt. Manor Nursing Home in Paintsville.
She was born Sept. 20, 1941, in Floyd county to the late Miah and Ella Lewis Spradlin. She was the wife of James Edward Damron, was a homemaker, and a member of the East Point Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Gladis Hancock, Thelma Adams, Georgie Hackney and Zella Stapleton.
She is survived by two sons, James Carl (Anna) Damron, of Tram, and Matthew (Robin) Damron, of Prestonsburg; two daughters, Vickie Lynn (Mark) Hurd, of Martin, and Rose Mary (Gary) Akers, of Dana; a sister, Victoria MacAven, of Florida; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 1, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Joshua Buster Hayton and Mark Hunt officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Spradlin Cemetery, at Ivel.
