PIKEVILLE - Mark A. Gooch, president and CEO of Community Trust Bank, has announced that Bridgett N. Fields, Community Trust Bank vice president, has been promoted to the position of eastern region operations manager.
Fields has been with Community Trust for more than 15 years. She has worked in a variety of positions, including teller, head teller, customer service representative, loan officer and branch manager. Her job responsibilities will be to assist in the formulation, recommendation, and implementation of the Company’s banking operations policies, particularly those that affect Community Trust Bank branches, by serving on committees relative to banking operations and equipment and by collaborating with others in the Bank in the study and review of proposals.
Bridgett Fields graduated from Betsy Layne High School and earned an associate’s degree in arts and sciences from Prestonsburg Community College. She also attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington and Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond. Bridgett also graduated from the Kentucky Banking Association’s General Banking School in Georgetown.
Bridgett is a member of the Hazard Perry County Lions Club, serves on the Hazard Perry County Senior Citizens Advisory Board, and is a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. Her husband, Jamey Fields, is the owner of Perry Vinyl Windows and Doors, LLC, in Hazard. They have been married for 15 years and have two sons, Dylan and Dustin.
