Willis Sparks Jr., 35, of Langley, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at St. Joseph Martin.
He was born May 27, 1977, in Floyd County, to the late Willis Sr. and Dianna Goble Sparks. He worked as a coal miner and was the husband of Candy Baisden Sparks.
He is survived by his companion, Brandy Carroll, of Langley; grandmother, Mornie Sparks, of Prestonsburg; daughters, Ashley Lynn Sparks, of Prestonsburg; Phyllis Gracie Mae Sparkman, and Kyra Nicole Sparks, of Langley; step-son, James Dalton Lewis, of Langley; brother and sisters, Randy Michael Sparks, of Martin, Tonya (Leo II ) Endicott, of Prestonsburg, Jeannie Sparks and Kimberly Sparks, of McDowell; special aunt, Phyllis Sparks, of Prestonsburg; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, Don Neeley and other United Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Sparks Hill Cemetery, at Abbott, Prestonsburg.
Nelson Fraizer Funeral Home, of Martin, is in charge of arrangements.
