Glenna Faye Stewart, age 69, of Tram, passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, at Highlands Regional Medical Center, in Prestonsburg.
She was born Jan. 2, 1943, in Tram, the daughter of the late Charles Thomas and Gartha McClure Stewart. She was the postmaster at the Tram Post Office for over 40 years and of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by two brothers, Kent Stewart and Kenny Stewart, both of Tram; three sisters, Ilene Clark, of Harold, Darlene Collins, of Drift, and Judy Adkins, of Ashland, Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by long-time companion, Bob Whitaker; four brothers, Edward Stewart, Rex Allen Stewart, Paul Stewart and James Stewart; and one sister, Lola Patsine Newsome.
Funeral services for Glenna Faye Stewart were held Sunday, Sept. 30, in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, in Martin, with Ronnie Sammons officiating. Burial followed in Gethsemane Gardens, in Prestonsburg.
