PRESTONSBURG — Big Sandy Community and Technical College is setting its sights on Europe for its 2013 excursion across the pond, with locations in France, England and Holland among the stops.
BSCTC regularly plans overseas trips for students and community members, but this year at least, the cultural differences won’t be so pronounced. In June 2013, BSCTC Professor Matthew Smith plans to lead students, staff, faculty, and community members to Amsterdam, Paris and London.
BSCTC officials say that the costs will be roughly $3,800 for students and $4,000 for individuals over 30. This includes airfare, accommodations, most dinners, all breakfasts, access to all locations and sights, transportation through each country, and much more. Most people pay monthly, but some pay the total amount up front. There are several different ways to pay and a few of these options can be explored.
Students and community members who have returned from these trips say they are excited about seeing more of the world.
Anyone interested in the trip should contact Professor Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org or 859-421-1603.
