Ollie Jean Johnson Collins, 84, of Wayland, widow of Brack Johnson and Everett Collins, died Aug. 23, 2012, at her residence.
Born March 16, 1928, at Kite, to the late Andrew Tuttle & Angaline Thornsberry, she was a homemaker and a member of the Martin Branch Freewill Baptist Church, at Estill.
She is survived by two sons, Randle Johnson (Sherry) and Richard (Judy) Johnson, of both of Wayland; four daughters, Lorna Gail (Shannon) Wallen, of Garrett, Linda S. Patton and Brenda Ramey, both of Wayland, and Linnie Johnson, of Hi Hat; a sister, Emogene Short, of Tennessee; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Danny Ray Johnson; brothers and sisters, Bill Tuttle, Ronnie Tuttle, Gershin Tuttle, Mickey Tuttle, Charles Tuttle, Elium Tuttle, Ephram Tuttle, Holbert Tuttle, Nella Faye Green and Audrey Slone; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ollie Jean Johnson Collins were held Sunday, Aug. 26, at Martin Branch Freewill Baptist Church, at Estill, with Carl Watkins and others officiating. Burial followed in the Tuttle Family Cemetery, at Kite.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangements.
