PRESTONSBURG — Fans of the macabre are in for a spooky treat this weekend, as East Kentucky Fear Fest holds a special midnight showing of a classic horror film.

The fun gets underway at 11:30 p.m., Friday night, as the Strand Twin opens its doors. At midnight, the theater will show “A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master.”

The event is being put together by Deadpit Radio, the online horror radio show produced by Wes “Creepy Kentuckian” Vance and Aaron “Uncle Bill” Frye, both of Prestonsburg.

Tickets to the special showing are $5 and are available at deadpit.com.
